The best way to prevent sample degradation during homogenization

Your samples can really degrade from heat during homogenization, unless your homogenizer has cooling. The problem is, the cooling is “hit or miss” in many of those homogenizers, potentially freezing your samples or still allowing them to get too hot.

Active cooling works better

In contrast, the Bullet Blender Gold+ homogenizers have active cooling systems that use either dry ice or liquid nitrogen (LN2). Plenty of cooling power to keep samples just a few degrees above freezing.

The cooling system is completely integrated and adjusts for the amount of energy homogenizing the samples and in response to temperature sensor readings.

The Gold+ fully integrated cooling system actually monitors how hard the motor is working.

Liquid nitrogen or dry ice? Gold+ does both.

Also, wouldn’t it make sense to have a homogenizer that accommodates both cooling options so you can choose whichever is available or more convenient?

The Gold+ keeps samples at 4°C using either option, going a step further than competing homogenizers.

Labs prefer the Gold+ for other reasons, too
