Our magnetic tube rack is actually composed of 3 parts. This system handles all your needs when working with magnetic beads. It is a:
- tube rack with the magnet in place
- basic tube rack without a magnet
- tube rack that captures the tubes for mixing
The rack holds eight sample tubes. This is ideal for the three types of steps in magnetic bead extraction protocols: mixing, washing, and magnetic separation. The magnetic rack assembly consists of 3 parts: a tube rack; a magnetic stand; and a mixing base.
The tube rack holds up to eight 1.5 or 2 mL tubes.
For magnetic bead separation, slide the tube rack onto the magnetic stand.
The mixing base captures the tubes in the tube rack for easy mixing, either by hand or when placed on a rocker.
